The outdoors and rural life aren’t new to Paul. Growing up in Whanganui but spending some of his younger years in Patea and Raetihi, he spent a lot of time helping on a family farm during lambing and hay-making seasons and lending a hand on a family commercial fishing business.
Paul describes himself as a family-first man. He has two daughters, both of whom are serving in the military, he is extremely proud of them.Paul and his family made the move to Hamilton in 2004 after getting the opportunity to manage a small business.
Paul is now looking forward to making a difference at Gallagher Animal Management, enhancing an already well-respected customer experience through excellent service.
Through most of his career he has been involved in management or leadership positions and since moving to Hamilton he says he has assisted numerous teams and businesses through acquisitions, mergers, restructures, and transformations.
Having been heavily involved in customer service, Paul says he takes pride in being involved in the journey. Whether that’s providing quality service to clients or leading, developing, and coaching others to do the same.
“My goal is to bring as many people as possible on the journey. As a leader I aspire to grow great people and expand their abilities/skillsets, and as a manager to improve business systems and processes through collaborative partnership.”
In his spare time, Paul likes to renovate, game, ride bikes and spend time with his family.
