Lisbeth Jacobs joined Gallagher as Chief Executive - Animal Management in April 2021 and thrives on providing strategic leadership across the global footprint of the Animal Management operations.
Lisbeth Jacobs joined Gallagher as Chief Executive - Animal Management in April 2021 and thrives on providing strategic leadership across the global footprint of the Animal Management operations.
Prior to this Lisbeth held senior leadership roles at the leading edge of applied innovation and sustainability with Fletcher Building, Uniservices, The Icehouse, and global steelcord & steelwire company Bekaert where she worked and lived across Europe, China, the Middle East, and North America. Lisbeth is currently an independent director of BRANZ and Goodnature Ltd. She holds a PhD of Engineering from the University of Auckland, a Master of Engineering from the KULeuven in Belgium and completed the General Management Programme at CEDEP-INSEAD in Paris.

Sammy Anderson joined Gallagher as the Executive Business Partner for Lisbeth Jacobs (Chief Executive - Animal Management) in December 2021. She has over 14 years of office and admin management experience in the agricultural industry, having held several roles at Fonterra before joining Gallagher. Sammy’s role with Lisbeth includes calendar management, travel coordination, pack preparation, finance support, stakeholder management and more. She also supports the wider leadership team with travel requests, conference logistics, team events and office management.
In her spare time, she volunteers with the Graeme Dingle Foundation as a youth mentor, is a “Wish Fairy” with the Make a Wish foundation and enjoys Musicals.

Nicola (Nic) Harrop, a Chartered Marketer with over 20 years of international experience, joined Gallagher as Chief Marketing Officer in February 2023. She joined Gallagher from Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, where she played a central role in the creation of their marketing operations team. Prior to this Nic held marketing roles at Compaq NZ, AOL Time Warner in the UK and Europe and led the marketing function for a global leader in IVF manufacturing. Nic’s career encompasses all marketing channels and working with businesses to support hardware, software as a service (SaaS) and subscription products.
Outside of Gallagher, with an interest for sharing best practice with the wider marketing sector you’ll find Nic as a key member of the NZ Tech Marketers’ Group; a thriving network (part of NZ Tech Alliance) of over 200 marketing professionals that Nic herself helped to found.
Nic says that she is particularly focussed on “deeply understanding customer needs to connect them to the right products through a seamless experience (however they choose to purchase). This focus on the customer is what enables us to developing strategies and processes that support business expansion and growth ambitions.”

Chris van der Loo joined Gallagher as Chief Product Officer for Animal Management in August 2022. In this role, Chris is responsible for global R&D and a product development roadmap that will move our solutions-focused priorities forward. At a time of rapid business growth and change, and always with the customer-needs in mind, Chris plays a key role in working with our customers and teams around the world to set us up for continued and future success.
After studying at Otago University, Chris built a strong leadership background in NZ and the USA for several industries including agriculture, geospatial, civil construction, and aerospace.
Now, as a leader for Gallagher Animal Management, Chris’s focus is to, “inspire teams to deliver technology systems that solve complex customer problems and deliver technology-driven value.”

Dan recently received the role of Chief Operations Officer after starting with Gallagher in 2011 as a Product Manager for the W&EID category, moving into the NZ Sales team as National Field Manager leading the Territory Managers before being promoted to NZ Sales Manager. Dan is committed to empowering our customers and internal teams around the world with accurate and accessible knowledge, supporting Gallagher to drive strategic success through operational excellence.
Having grown up on a dairy farm in the south Waikato and studying Mechatronics at the Waikato University in Hamilton, Dan is proud to now work for a world-leading company, that is also based in the mighty Waikato and in a role that blends his skills and interests in both agriculture and tech. He says,

He began his career with us as a Territory Manager for the Bay of Plenty and South Waikato region. In 2013 after 12 successful years as a Territory Manager Darrell left his region and was promoted to Regional Sales Manager and Key Account Manager.
Darrell and his partner Charlie have two children and live in the Waikato region, his hobbies include hunting and fishing.

Doug is responsible for formulating a sales and development strategy to drive commercial success of, and for the many exciting projects and events we have lined up for, the Animal Management business in North America.
Doug has had a successful career delivering results in a variety of industries, including consumer electronics, hardware, automotive, and outdoor sporting goods, and working for large international organizations as well as an entrepreneurial start-up business.
Doug grew up in rural eastern Nebraska on a small farm and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Management, as well as completing an MBA at Rockhurst University in Kansas City.
