Mike Ward is one of Gallagher’s most experienced territory managers. He has worked for Gallagher since 2001 and has a reputation for his in-depth knowledge and great communication skills.
His customers have ranged from large scale corporate farming operations to lifestyle block owners. In mid-2021, Mike made the move to the Northland region, where he now covers the territory from north of Auckland’s Harbour Bridge to Kaitaia.
Mike previously looked after the Manawatu, Wairarapa, Hawkes Bay regions where he enjoyed bringing electric fencing solutions to hill country farmers, helping them implement large scale electric fencing.
Many of these farmers are now using Gallagher electric fencing with confidence and enjoying the peace of mind that comes with having good voltage up to 10 kms out – all thanks to the advice and expertise they received from Mike.
Mike says he is happiest when helping Gallagher customers solve problems that will save them time and maximise their profitability on farm. He is now enjoying getting to know farmers in the Northland region and helping them tackle their own challenges.
Well known for his can-do attitude and willingness to lend a hand, Mike is always easy to get hold of on the phone.
When Mike’s not working you will most likely find him indulging his passion for the great outdoors enjoying all the Northland region has to offer from jet ski fishing to diving and hunting.
