Making the move to Gallagher in 2017, Mark has enjoyed contact with a very valuable part of the region’s economy, for a company that is offering its farmer clients an ever-expanding range of products designed with their needs in mind.
What he enjoys most about the role is providing technical solutions and introducing a client to a new product that can help lift their productivity and make things simpler at the same time. One of Mark’s philosophies is to “Work smarter not harder” and Mark feels that the Agriculture Sector is now on the cusp of a wave of new tech that can certainly make the life of the modern farmer a lot easier and more productive.
Mark is also very proud of being part of the Gallagher organisation, and to be a part of a company where he is selling products designed and manufactured right here in New Zealand – “Not many companies can claim to have their product made right here in New Zealand by New Zealanders for New Zealanders and the world”.
For Mark, Taranaki has proven something of a magnet through his life, having been bought up there travelling around the world and finally settling back in Taranaki in 2003.
He is married with two teenage children and spends his spare time hunting down the best waves to surf on the prolific Taranaki coast or mountain biking in the hills at Lake Mangamahoe.
