7 October 2024 – New Feature: Edit Animals Without Creating New Sessions
Impacted subscription levels: Animal Performance Every Day (Web) and Animal Performance Plus (Web and Mobile)
Web application (Every Day and Plus subscribers)
Step 1: Select "Animals" in the left panel and search for the animal by typing its EID or VID in the search bar at the top, e.g. GALL-15-123
Step 2: Click on the tick box, click the Actions icon and select Bulk Edit
Step 3: A panel will appear on the right side where you can record the information, e.g. Life Data, Traits, Treatments, Activities, or Notes. For example, when recording a Treatment against an animal select the Treatments tab and click Add New. Select the Treatments tab and fill out all details then click Update. The panel will then automatically close and you will go back to the All Animals view
Step 4: You can review what you have just recorded by clicking the EID or VID number, and a panel will pop up with the detailed animal information including the latest recorded activity
Mobile application (Plus subscribers)
Step 1: Click the Search icon on the top right corner and type the animal's EID or VID, e.g. GALL-15-123
Step 2: Click on the tick box, click the Actions icon, and select Bulk Edit
Step 3: You can record information such as Life Data, Traits, Activities, Treatments or Notes. For example, when recording a Treatment against an animal select the Treatments tab and click Add New. You can select Treatments that already exist in your account or you can Create New Treatment if it's not on the list. Key in the date of when the treatment was administered, then click OK. Complete all the treatment details, then click Update. The panel will then automatically close and you will go back to the All Animals view.
Step 4: You can review what you have just recorded by clicking the Search icon on the top right corner and selecting the last-searched animal. Next, select the animal again and you will be taken to its individual Animal Page. Select Treatments as per the example above, and the dropdown will expand to show what you have just recorded. You can further expand these dropdown boxes to display additional details.
24 July 2024 – Enhancement: Animal Performance Mobile

1 – Updates to Action Buttons
Actions can now be completed from the Last Session Card on the home screen, e.g. Resume, Edit and Share. New Session button is now renamed to Record. Resume Session button is now simplified to Resume. And a new Sync button is added so end users can do this straight from the home screen.
2 – Last Session Card
You can now only see the weight information overview if a session contains weight data.
3 – Send to NAIT or NLIS directly from the home screen
End Users in AU and NZ can also select the NAIT or NLIS movements from the Last Session Card. This simplifies the process of exporting data.
4 – Last Sync information
There has also been the addition of the last sync time at the bottom of the screen so you have immediate visibility of when you last updated their data.
Plus some minor bug fixes and improvements.
8 February 2024 – New Feature: Days on Feed
Impacted subscription levels: Animal Performance Every Day and Animal Performance Plus
Start tracking animal growth against a feeding program to monitor effectivity, identify areas for improvement, reduce waste, and lower input costs. Farmers will also be able to maintain consistent product quality, especially if they have multiple mobs across several properties.
Plus some minor bug fixes and improvements.
14 December 2023 – Enhancement: Sync Speed
Impacted subscription levels: Animal Performance Every Day and Animal Performance Plus
We've enhanced the sync functionality across our entire Animal Performance ecosystem.
This means that whether you're uploading data from your collection devices (weigh scales, hand-held readers, and your mobile phone) to the Cloud or downloading data from the Cloud to your Gallagher devices, the entire process will be significantly faster.
While the sync speed is dependent on the size of your database, age of your device, and your internet speed, you should be able to notice some significant speed improvement.
Plus some minor bug fixes and improvements.
16 November 2023 – New Features: Pedigree Tree and Custom View

Pedigree Tree
Unique to Gallagher, view up to 4 generations of individual animals on Animal Performance Plus Web. Or, if you have a TW-5* or TWR-5 weigh scale, you'll be able to view 3 generational lines. Plus, you'll be able to select up to 2 life data to be visible on the animal card.
Custom View
Stretch the capabilities of your TW-5* or TWR-5 weigh scale with the new Custom View feature. Custom View allows you to pre-select specific traits and life data to display on the weigh scale when an animal is scanned. You'll be able to view all the relevant animal information you want, all on a single screen. This empowers you to make decisions as the animals are weighed, such as drafting into different groups or mobs for treatment, a different feeding program, or to sell or cull.
