I grew up with a big family in rural Saskatchewan. My family operated a small dairy farm and ran an Artificial insemination business in the local area. I was heavily involved as a member and later a leader in two 4-H clubs. I also showed cattle at regional livestock shows. 
Over the years I have been involved as an organizational member and/or leader in activities such as Karate, Lions Club, Local & National Church.

During my career I have worked a in a variety of roles for Alta Genetics at Balzac Alberta and Gallagher Animal Management out of New Zealand. Mainly in sales, marketing, and customer education. It is a great honor to work in the agriculture sector where I find it rewarding to be a small part in helping producers feed the world.
