Prior to starting a session, farmers can pre-define up to 3 traits to record against each animal such as sex, condition score, pregnancy status and more, linking that data to the EID tag number. Bluetooth connectivity allows you to connect EID tags with animal weights via a connected weigh scale, or wirelessly send and receive EID data and draft list with your Animal Performance mobile app. 

Ideal for fixed, hands-free EID data collection on any tagged livestock, usually in a weighing crate or in a race. An EID tag reader is designed to power a connected EID Antenna Panel. With built-in Bluetooth connectivity sending EID numbers to a connected EID enabled weigh Scale or recording up to 20,000 tags with its internal memory.    

With long lasting, rechargeable internal battery, the EID Reader Controller powers the Antenna Panel and reads tags for up to 8 hours.
