Growing up on the family farm near the Central NSW town of Bogan Gate, Graeme has always had an affiliation for the rural way of life.
After completing Ag College in Orange, Graeme started his rural merchandise career in 1989 with Dalgety Winchcombe FGC, based in Dubbo. He then spent several years as Merchandise Manager in Cobar, before returning to Dubbo. Graeme was then offered a position with a large multinational, Bayer Animal Health, looking after resellers and farmers across Central & Western NSW.
An internal transfer saw the Lister family move to Brisbane to look after a Territory covering SE QLD & North NSW. Another internal change saw Graeme’s focus then shift to the small animal field where he was focused on the larger independent buying groups & the emergence of the corporate stores in pet retail.
After 20 years in the field, a new direction saw Graeme take a position managing Queensland distribution for one of Australia’s largest pork producers, Rivalea, managing boxed pork through an independent meat wholesaler for supply across the QLD Butcher network.
Graeme has now returned to the rural industry with the opportunity to join the Gallagher Family. Gallagher is well known across the rural scene for reliability & innovation, along with an outstanding customer support network, an exceptional company that is a privilege to work for.
