Growing up in tropical Singapore, South African-born Jason lived for sport – thankfully, since he works at Gallagher, that included rugby. And when he and his close-knit family moved to Australia in 2011, he naturally added AFL to the list.
“Towards the end of high school, I was drawn to the idea of helping people in a business environment. My career so far has brought me to this customer service representative role, which I’m very happy about. I’ve always considered myself a practical hands-on person as well, so I thrive in this role.”
Jason brought several years of customer-service experience in high-pressure environments with him.
He says, “On a personal-satisfaction angle, working with the culture, high-standard products and skill level of the staff that Gallagher has, is just brilliant. I have a real enthusiasm for working with external customers and internal colleagues. The continual growth I know I’m getting in this role, as well gaining knowledge by learning from people who are highly skilled at what they do, is also very rewarding.”
