Growing up John had early exposure to the Thoroughbred industry in North-East Victoria on the family property in Balmattum. Having spent time helping around the farm was his first long term job on a Thoroughbred Stud Farm close to home.
After spending several years on farm an opportunity arose for him to live in Norway and travel for as long as finance would permit, lasting a full year it was a great opportunity to reassess his current employment.
John chose to move to Melbourne after studying Graphic Design, whilst working for a national outdoor retailer and enjoyed time in store for 10 years after quickly gaining a management position.
