I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. I’m blessed with two beautiful, loving, caring daughters and with two handsome, kind and noble sons. They have blessed me with seven wonderful, fun and energetic grandkids, who keep their Abuelita on her toes and running around.
I come from a rich first-generation Mexican/American culture, filled with beautiful traditions. Our family has a lifelong trade in farming. To this day our family in Michoacan still owns and harvests a variety of berries for Driscoll’s. My grandfather taught me the richness the soil has to offer, as well as good and strong work ethics. I briefly worked in Cd. Juarez, Mexico as an English language tutor in Manufacturers for Team leaders. In those three years I found a new enthusiasm for languages.
I fulfilled the Case Manager position for 12 years, working with the Hispanic Community in non-Profit agencies in Wyandotte, Johnson and Jackson Counties. Serving in this position with families facing various crises situations gave me the opportunity to not only use my first language, but also had the privilege to serve these clients facing emergency situations with the utmost care, respect, and dignity. I became dedicated to providing the best service to our clients and their needs, and at times advocating on their behalf for their improvement and wellbeing.
It is a privilege to have joined Gallagher in June 2021. I find we share values in offering the best customer service to our consumers and working collaboratively for the advancement of the company and continue to meet innovation with promise and growth opportunity.
I enjoy studying Biblical principles and growing in my faith and walking closely to my Creator. I like practicing Portuguese language and I’m now diving into Hebrew language as well as learning the Hebrew roots. Hosting Bible studies in my home fills me with gratitude and joy as I truly have fun cooking, baking, creating art with Jello and experimenting with international foods.
