Neil Mentzer | Business Development Manager - Land & Water Care
Neil joined the Gallagher Animal Management team in October 2020, bringing years of experience in sales, business development, and relationship management. Born and raised in Ohio, he grew up around farms and eventually started his own in 2015, raising multi-species animals and growing various crops. While he no longer farms full-time, his hands-on experience gives him a deep understanding of the agricultural industry and the needs of producers.
Before joining Gallagher, Neil spent 12 years as a successful Craft Beer Representative, developing expertise in market expansion and brand growth. When the opportunity arose to work with Gallagher—an industry leader known for its innovation and best-in-class products—he jumped at the chance, knowing it was the perfect fit for his skills and passion.
Now serving as Business Development Manager - Land & Water Care, Neil plays a key role in driving growth, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering solutions that help customers succeed.
Outside of work, Neil is an avid CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting athlete. When he's not in the gym or exploring the outdoors, he enjoys staying connected to the farming community, attending local markets, and catching live music. And while his career has taken him beyond the craft beer industry, he still appreciates a well-crafted brew now and then.
