Gallagher North America Partners in Save Our Troops Program

KANSAS CITY, MO – Gallagher North America, in partnership with the Armed Forces Foundation (AFF), announces the Save Our Troops program. This summer, the company will donate 1 percent of all participating dealer purchases of Gallagher fencing products and scales to the nonprofit organization.

"Gallagher is a protector," says Dan Geller, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Animal Management. "Our fencing protects a rancher's livestock from getting lost or injured. It protects our customers' land and animals from intruders. Because we protect what matters most to ranchers and farmers, we support the noble cause of the Armed Forces Foundation, an organization devoted to helping military men and women, who have sacrificed to protect what matters most to all of us."

Founded in 2001, the AFF offers vital assistance to active-duty and retired military personnel, National Guard, Reserve Components and military families. Through its programs, the organization is dedicated to raising awareness and advocacy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury, as well as other hidden wounds of war.

"We are excited to team up with Gallagher in the Save Our Troops program," says Patricia Driscoll, Armed Forces Foundation President and Executive Director. "With 95 percent of every dollar raised going directly to support service members and their families, the Armed Forces Foundation will be able to continue to provide opportunities and assistance to our troops, veterans and their families."

To further support and show gratitude to active-duty and retired military personnel, Gallagher is accepting well wishes, in the form of a card or a note, to send to a veteran.

"Every one of us knows someone or has a loved one who served or is currently serving our country," says Geller. "Gallagher North America encourages everyone to take a few moments out of their day to craft a note of thanks to the heroes who have selflessly defended our freedom. The Save Our Troops program is an extension of our company's values and philosophy, as well as those of the agriculture industry as a whole."
